What venue software actually costs at ten locations

Most venue software is priced per location. tasteck is priced per account. At one venue the difference is small. At ten it is not.

Ten locations, per month

Ten locations, per month
Typical venue POS$1,650$165 per location × 10
+ hardware (one-time)$1,000per location
+ card processing2.5–3.5%of every transaction
tasteck Standard$100all ten locations

That is a sixteenfold difference in the monthly line, and it is a difference in pricing model rather than a discount. We do not charge per location because the thing we measure — which advertising channel actually paid off — is measured across locations, not inside one.

Most of the alternatives quote per lead. That is reasonable for them and inconvenient for you: it means you cannot compare anything without booking a call first. Our numbers are above so that you can decide before speaking to anyone.

What we are not

We are not a point-of-sale system and we do not replace one. If you need to take payment at the bar, keep your POS. We sit alongside it.

What we do is the part your POS does not: it tells you what happened last night. It does not tell you what to spend next month, or where.

What we do

We report lifetime value by acquisition channel.

For each channel you advertise on, we track how much the guests it brought actually spent — not how many walked in. Those two numbers rank channels differently, and the gap between them is where the money goes.

The output is a figure, not a report: for each channel, the maximum you should spend on it next month.

Where this came from

We ran venues in this industry for 16 years. We are out of it now. In those years the group went from 200 million to 1.2 billion yen a year, and the discipline behind it was tracking channels by spend-per-guest rather than headcount.

This software is the system we used, turned into a product. It has been running since 2017. Our longest-running venue has been on it since October 2022.

Two things we say up front

The interface is Japanese-primary today. We handle English by email, and we set up your account for you rather than ask you to work through a Japanese signup form. Hosting is AWS Tokyo region.

The prices above are the same wherever you operate. There is no separate international rate and no setup fee.

Wondering what you can afford to pay each channel? Try the free calculator — enter what a channel cost you and what those guests spent, and it returns the maximum you should pay it next month. No signup.

Where these numbers come from

  • Per-location pricing, hardware and card processing figures: guestlistonline.com 2026 comparison and zipdo.co, checked 2026-08-15. Figures are typical market rates, not a quote from any named vendor.
  • tasteck pricing: our published rates on /en/pricing.
  • Operating history and revenue figures: our own records as a venue operator, 2009–2025.
