What you can afford to pay per channel

Most venues track how many guests a channel sent. That ranks channels by headcount. This ranks them by what those guests actually spent, and turns it into one figure: the most you should pay that channel next month.

Nothing is sent anywhere. No signup, no email, no cookies for this. The numbers stay in your browser.

Fill in one row and the numbers appear here. New guests, their visits and what they spent are the three that matter.

How it is calculated

  1. Average spend per visit = revenue from that channel’s guests ÷ their visits.
  2. Gross per visit = average spend per visit × (1 − payout share). Payout share is what leaves the till — cast, driver, commission.
  3. Churn = (guests − guests who came back) ÷ guests. Lifetime = 1 ÷ churn.
  4. Affordable monthly budget = gross per visit × lifetime × new guests ÷ months.
